An architect’s vineyard: Mount Monument prepares to take overnight guests
Nonda Katsalidis, the architect behind MONA, is adding two residences to his Macedon Ranges estate.

Mount Monument, in Romsey, is the winery and sculpture park of Nonda Katsalidis, the architect best known for Hobart’s MONA. The cool-climate estate already has a cellar door and restaurant, set among more than 30 contemporary sculptures.
Two residences with floor-to-ceiling windows over the sculpture park are due to open to guests in late 2026.
It is about an hour from Melbourne, which makes it a natural companion to the Macedon Ranges’ other long lunches. Book through the estate.
