An $85 million guide on the harbour: Point Piper’s Radford comes to market
The waterfront estate could set the year’s top price, with the national record still some way above it.

Radford, a five-bedroom waterfront house on Wolseley Crescent in Point Piper, is for sale with a guide of $85 million. Robert and Ruth Magid bought the property for $7.35 million in December 1998.
Designed by architect Victor Berk and built in the early 1990s, the house sits on 1366 square metres with views from the Harbour Bridge to Shark Island. It has a private jetty, a pool, a gym and a sauna. The land was once part of the Paradis Sur Mer estate, demolished in 1990.
A sale near the guide would clear this year’s top price so far, $57 million for a Vaucluse waterfront home. It would still sit well below the national record, the roughly $130 million Atlassian co-founder Scott Farquhar reportedly paid for nearby Uig Lodge.
Point Piper remains Australia’s most expensive suburb, with a median house price of $17.3 million.
